Over the holiday weekend Kiel and I drove the bug down to Watch Hill to spend a few days with friends. It’s one of my favorite places, and as far as I’m concerned the best place to celebrate the 4th. We went for the first time last year and had to do it again. The Ocean House throws an amazing Independence Day Beach Ball that we did not want to miss. The party this year did not disappoint. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather. I returned home quite content after a little fun in the sun.

The ruffle trims of the midi skirt is gorgeous!! It's summery yet elegant – something that would work really well either dressing up or down for different occasions. I will be sure to check it out on their site!

ah yes the ruffle trick! I forgot that I had a good ruffled top that I wore when pregnant and it was great at hiding the bump!
