On a recent trip to Maine, Kiel and I spent an exciting afternoon exploring Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. It was well worth the 6 hour drive from Rhode Island! The craggy coastline, pine trees standing tall against the sea, combined with ocean views of neighboring islands could not have been more stunning. We walked along the Ocean Path and drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain, happily snapping pictures along the way.

For this post I teamed up with Splendid, a company that celebrates softness not only in their fabrics (my shirt and Kiel’s sweatshirt are incredibly cozy!) but in life’s special moments. During this adventure it was so nice to put our phones away and take in the beauty of our surroundings. I choose a classic look that was comfortable and perfect for a day of walking.
