Low Tide Excursion
Dress: Malene Birger Bathing Suit: J.Crew Hat: Harding Lane (Similar) Bracelet: Kiel James Patrick
The tides of Cape Porpoise in Kennebunkport, ME are more dramatic than any I’ve ever seen. In a matter of hours, 8-10 feet of water will empty completely allowing you to walk a half a mile across the sand flats to all of the nearby islands. It was an adventure to make the trek through the sand (calf-deep mud in some places), seaweed, and barnacle covered rocks to reach the Goat Island lighthouse. When we finally arrived we discovered that a couple of our friends had had the same idea and were waiting to greet us from atop the lighthouse. The view was spectacular, and we enjoyed the company of the light-keeper’s dogs for as long as possible before we had to turn back or risk having to swim home. Although it was a little rough on our bare feet, it was definitely an unforgettable experience.

Nice I also share with you something hope this helpful for you. While showcasing her creations at any given opportunity has certainly contributed to her success, getting a host of A-list style icons to step out in her wares can't have hurt either. Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow have become loyal followers, Eva Longoria and Demi Moore have modelled more than one of those signature exposed zips, and the dresses have so extensively travelled the fashion foodchain that Carol Vorderman even got in on the act. Check it out thanks.

so my wedding photographer just sent me this link because this yellow house is next door to my family's house in cape porpoise, where i've spent summers since i was a kid. and i actually got married in the backyard, right there on august 10…one day after this post. what a funny coincidence! CP is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and the tidal mudflats are nuts.
